Jerome Reuter who is better known as the voice and mastermind behind the project ROME. With a career that is entering its 21st year ROME has given us 23 albums. On December 19 of 2025 his last two albums “The Tower” & “The Hierophant” were simultaneously released.
The Rockpit’ Slaids sat down with Jerome and we dove into his career, recapped his first Australian tour in August of last year. We dive into the inspiration behind “The Tower” & “The Heirophant”’ and what is ahead for 2026.
Both “The Tower” & “The Hierophant” are incredible albums and need to be checked out. ROME is a band that are hard to slot into a genre as the catalogue is diverse, but rest assured it’s a journey worth taking. These last two records if they had to be labelled would fall into dark folk, but I found so much more in them.
