Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo is better known as one half of the genre defying electro punks The Bloody Beetroots. Rifo is much more than just one half of the project he is a producer, DJ, multi-instrument musician and the visionary behind the project.
Having just released their latest EP ‘Forever Part One’ we dive into his history, how he writes, how he creates and also talk about his connection with Australia which is deep and long running. Having collaborated with everyone from Sir Paul McCartney to Steve Aoiki to Jet there is nothing he won’t approach with his musical mind. We talk of his friendship and work with Tommy Lee of Motley Crue who is one of Rifo’s best friends and the recordings that will never see light of day as they are just that raw in the moment collaborations.
