I have always said there is something special in the water in Sweden when it comes to rock music and Solence are no exception. The bands fifth album ‘Angels Calling ‘ is out October 31 via Better Noise Music, the band’s first full release via the label. Slaids caught up with frontman Markus Videsäter ahead of the album’s release to talk about the album and the bands history.
Solance deliver a genre crossing style of rock n roll. There are hints of Deathcore, Pop and Hard rock all blended together to make an album that is instant and infectious. The melodies are magical, the riffs to die for and lyrically the album has depth.
To think these four barely 30’s guys first major gig was supporting now label mates Five Finger Death Punch is incredible. Kick back and enjoy the chat.
