LIVE REVIEW: NAT ALLISON Showcases New Project ROCK CHICK at Festival Of Sails Geelong

Festival Of Sails Geelong - 27th January 2024

The original Queen of rock’s little sister Nat Allison showcased her new project ROCK CHICK at Geelong’s Festival Of The Sails on Australia Day. 

The four piece band which is made up of Anthony Licciardi Garcia (Bass) and Leigh Madden (Guitar) from Palace Of The King as well as drummer and occasional member of Palace Of The King Braydon Becher. With Allison on guitar and lead vocals, Friday nights set was a retrospective look at the top selling female artist from the last five decades. 

The hour plus set included songs from Suzi Quatro, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Katy Perry, Alanis Morrissette, Joan Jett and many more had Geelong dancing and singing the night away.
The energetic performance from Alison and band was a taste of things to come so keep an eye out for ROCK CHICK playing near you soon. 

In the meantime see Nat Allison at one of her solo gigs, with her original project the Nat Allison Band (supporting Palace Of The King, Feb 28 at Shotkickers) and as a part of Suzi Quatro’s band who headlines the Red Hot Summer Tour – Series 3 throughout Feb-March.
