Adelaide alt rock band Feed The Fire release debut single and video

Feed The Fire

Adelaide three piece alt rock band Feed The Fire have just released their debut single Haunted House from the forthcoming debut LP Maybe You Need This?! along with their debut video.

The single was recorded and mixed at Against The Grain Studios in Adelaide by renowned Adelaide rock and metal producer Andy Kite.

It is a guitar driven, contagious and hooky anthem of a track with a driving bass line and pounding drums throughout. The vocals are raspy but coherent and catchy with plenty of woah oh oh’s to sing along to. For fans of bands like Nirvana, The Living End, Greenday, Soundgarden, and Muse among others.

Front man Dan Pearce explains “Lyrically the song is about dealing (or not dealing) with the aftermath of the end of a long relationship that comes unexpectedly. It deals with topics of love, regret, hopelessness and hope. My lyric writing has always been like journal entries out there for the world to digest, albeit with a little embellishment for colour and entertainment”.

The video shot mainly on location at Carclew Mansion in North Adelaide by freelance visual artist Rebecca Bogert features intertwining dream/nightmare sequences along with the band playing live with a group of zombie cheerleaders.

Again, Dan Pearce explains.” We took a tongue in cheek approach to the clip. Rather than wanting it to be super polished and dark in it’s feel we kept it more of a lighthearted cartoony type vibe so hopefully everyone can just have some fun with it”.

Feed The Fire will be releasing a few more singles in the lead up to the album release later this year with a few interstate and home shows booked to follow as well.

Haunted House is available on all popular streaming sites including Spotify and iTunes.
