Corey Legge drops second single ‘Rose’ and tour dates

Corey Legge - Driving Out Of Eden

Hearts will be stolen when singer-songwriter Corey Legge takes his new single ‘Rose’ on tour throughout September, playing major and regional centres backed by a three-piece band.

‘Rose’ is the second single to be lifted from Corey’s debut full-length album ‘Driving out of Eden’, which was released in February. A heartfelt lament about a lost soul, ‘Rose’ is a beautifully haunting song featuring Legge’s signature slide guitar and smooth vocal melodies.

With its Celtic folk-rock vibe, ‘Rose’ reveals a more sensitive side of Corey’s songwriting after the frenetic pace of the album’s titular first single. The song is layered in emotion and showcases Corey’s growing prowess as a lyricist, the words sung with passion and honesty in a voice that channels strains of James Taylor and Donovan.

The accompanying film clip for ‘Rose’ was filmed and edited by Tim Winterflood in Wollongong NSW, continuing the longstanding and fruitful partnership between the two former Bega Valley creatives. The clip is simple and sweet, pairing well with Corey’s upfront and wholesome appeal as he delivers the song to his audience with pure intention and emotion; it also features a range of instruments he is known for using in a live setting, including lap steel, guitar, and banjo.

Corey is on tour throughout New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland throughout September accompanied by a three-piece band and special guests. The tour includes major cities and regional areas, including Nellijam Winter Breaker Country Party Festival. Tickets available from www.coreylegge.com or on the door.

Corey Legge is proudly endorsed by Cole Clark guitars.
