THE PLOT IN YOU have dropped their new video for single ‘Disposable Fix‘, another incredible video clip, following their visceral ‘Not Just Breathing’ clip. Their album ‘Dispose’ is out Friday February 16 through Fearless Records/Caroline Australia – and it’s shaping up to be their biggest yet down under!
With previous single from the record ‘Not Just Breathing’ being added to Rotation on triple j and The Faction Radio and the announcement of their touring down under on a triple j supported tour in April with the hottest heavy bands in Australia at the moment, Polaris and Alpha Wolf, things are heating up in Australia for The Plot in You.
‘DISPOSE’ will be released on 16th February, 2018. The Ohio rock band – comprised of Landon Tewers (Vocals), Josh Childress (Guitar), Ethan Yoder (Bass) and Mathis Arnell (Drums) – have crafted a truly unique take on modern rock, transcending genres from metalcore to alternative. With ‘DISPOSE’, the group is ready to undertake a new journey with a fresh vision, taking a collective step forward, which showcases the group’s eclectic style and creative flair. Produced by Drew Fulk [Motionless In White, I Prevail, Crown The Empire], the 10-track album explores the lasting effects of a toxic relationship, and serves as The Plot In You’s most personal record to date.
On the topic of the new single, singer Landon Tewers said, “Disposable Fix was written in one sitting, during a writing session for another artist. I latched onto it and had to keep it for myself. It’s a bit of a fuck you track and reflecting on a situation after everything had passed.”
The video for ‘Disposable Fix’ was released on Saturday Australian time and has in two days, racked up over 140k views across Youtube and Facebook. Previous singles ‘Feel Nothing’ and ‘Not Just Breathing’ have a combined Spotify listen count of over 3.5 million streams, a combined Youtube view count of over 2.6 million and there just doesn’t seem to be any stopping The Plot In You’s powerful surge forward in the world of rock.
