Sparrow are here to remind you that industial metal is NOT dead. They are set to release their ‘Digital People‘ EP into the world April 6! The five-track EP will be set free in the digital and real world. The title track of the record was premiered on triple j’s The Racket this week and today, they are releasing the frenetic video for it!. Pre-Orders for the EP are live now and the single ‘Digital People’ will be live for streaming this Friday. Previous single ‘Red’ is live on Spotify and Youtube for streaming.

The new EP “Digital People” has influences from early 90’s Marilyn Manson, to modern Motionless in White with heavy industrial overtones and a new edge.

Huge worldwide Metal news site Metal Sucks had this to say about Sparrow’s previous single ‘Red’ – “This isn’t your father’s (errr… your childhood’s) industrial, though: as with any resurgence, it’s been updated for modern times. It’s heavier, for one. The vocals are more aggressive. The production is bigger. The band’s look is a bit too nu-metally for my tastes (needs more BLACK LEATHER and COMBAT BOOTS and CHAINS!). But this is basically it. And, most importantly, the song is catchy as fuck!

SPARROW released their debut album “DEATHPOP” in the summer of 2013 and went on to play across the country, playing the popular Hyper Festival twice in Perth and the Rock the Bay festival on the east coast as well as a slew of national and international support slots including Twelve Foot Ninja, Superheist, Emery, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Dead Letter Circus, and Tonight Alive.

Sparrow’s ‘Digital People’ EP will see it’s release on Friday April 6 for purchase on iTunes, Google Play and for streaming via Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music. For more information, go to facebook.com/sparrowbandaus.
