The immediacy of Hideous Sun Demon’s thrashing brand of psych-punk music has returned in all its glory, with the release of their new single, ‘Antithesis’.
Capturing hectic riffs and frenetic percussion in a tightly produced number, ‘Antithesis’ is the dose of musical chaos from Hideous Sun Demon that will satiate the appetite of fans and newcomers alike.
The premiere of ‘Antithesis’ comes with the announcement of Hideous Sun Demon’s third studio album, ‘FAME, EROTIC, DREAM’, set to be released on July 27th. The foundations already laid by the band on previous releases Industry Connections (2016) and Sweat (2013) have been impressively built upon with this new collection of material; the WA trio have gone further in exploring some blistering soundscapes, all the while upping their artistry and talent as instrumentalists. In celebrating the long awaited release of FAME, EROTIC, DREAM, Hideous Sun Demon are returning to a live stage near you this August and September. Beginning their run in Adelaide on August 2nd and bringing it all home to Perth on September 29th, fans can expect Hideous Sun Demon to come out the gates swinging; it’s time for this fantasy dream to be brought to life.
