Romanian metal band Ucigan releases “Intunericul” video from self titled album

Ucigan

Under the name Ucigan, a new sludge/black metal band from Romania released their first album. The group, formed at the beginning of this year realeased a 7 song self-titled album on the 2nd of December.

We’ve been looking to create a concept album about how mankind is destroying itself and this world, by its own mistakes. It’s an album about Gods and how stupid we are as people to find answers in idols. It’s hypocrisy, loss and death. Our cruel, dark sound smolders even in the slowest fragments that burst into aggressive passages describing the violent fury and pain that we’ve suffered and keep on suffering in this dysfunctional society. In short, this is how we see our self-titled album“.

Each song on this album expresses deep states and experiences that often morph along the way into deep, powerful emotions and feelings. Hatred, disgust, isolation, the unknown often met the surreal framework, resulting in the raw form of the songs.

The first video/single “Intunericul” (The Blackness/Darkness), written and performed alongside Ionescu Mihai, the vocalist of Cap De Craniu, can be seen below. The entire album is available at the bandcamp page: https://ucigan.bandcamp.com/
