Perth’s Foxton Kings drop new single ‘Mookaite’

Following on from last year’s debut EP Crooked Tales that featured the singles Hell Cat and Black Whip Lovin’, Perth’s Foxton Kings are set to launch their most frenetic offering yet with Mookaite.

Recorded at Debaser with local legend Andy Lawson (Gyroscope, Tired Lion), Mookaite finds Foxton Kings incorporating a more progressive approach to their bluesy alt-rock that carries the attitude of Royal Blood and the aggressive distortion of Jack White.

Comprised of Joel Stevens (vocals), Cliff Johnson (guitar), Dane Koek (bass) and Alex Barker (drums), Foxton Kings may be relative newcomers but in a short space of time they’ve honed in on a sonic intensity that’ll no doubt see them tearing up stages all across the country.

“Foxton Kings pull no punches when it comes to their penchant for dirty riffs and classic sounding hard edged blues.” – The Rock Pit
