UNFD is excited to announce the signing of 2017’s break out band Introvert to its flourishing roster. Alongside the announcement, Introvert have dropped their brand new single “December”, which sees the Novocastrians deliver a raw alternative rock anthem infused with ’90s grunge nostalgia.

Introvert had this to say about singing to UNFD: “It’s a humbling time for all of us to announce our signing to UNFD and we are extremely proud to begin the next chapter of Introvert along with such a well-established, hardworking and passionate team. The label feels like a big family and we’re really keen to get cracking on our debut album.

“We can’t wait to put out a collection of songs that we really feel reflects the band and ourselves as musicians to a whole legion of new fans. We’re really keen to continue touring to both familiar and new places next year, it’s always been a dream of ours to take our music to as many people as possible around the world and do what we love, so here’s to 2018 as a part of the UNFD family!”

Next month, Introvert will hit hit the road for their first headline shows around the country. With a swag of new tunes to showcase live this will be their final tour for the year before they head to UNIFY Festival in January 2018. Tickets are on sale now.

Off the back of just one EP, Introvert hit the scene hard and have had a year the will never forget. Cultivating a sentimental sound that takes the very best elements of Basement, Luca Brasi and Violent Soho and pairing it with an eccentric, emotional live show, Introvert are making a name for themselves around the Australian music industry and beyond. Introvert were earmarked as a band to watch in 2017 by triple j Unearthed, going on to score Feature Artist and then winning the opening slot at Groovin’ The Moo via the station. Their break out song “Everything Is Different Now” found a home on triple j rotation, climbed multiple Spotify charts and scored the boys their very first Australian tour with none other than Birds of Tokyo. Since then, Introvert have shared stages with Basement, Balance and Composure, AFI, Hellions as well as impressing crowds at BIGSOUND 2017.
