It looks highly likely that the next Kiss album, due out on October 6th will be called "Sonic Boom". Fans are in for a treat if they head down to WalMart, as just like Journey before them, the package includes - the new CD, a disc of re-recorded hits and a bonus live DVD. 3 discs for a likely $12 looks like pretty good value to us...

It looks like it may be bad news for music fans headed to Iowa this month for Rock Gone Wild. The Rockpit has many friends with tickets but it looks like RGW may well not take place this year.

The festival looks like it will no longer be going ahead: trying to reach the website today the site is gone and a brief message is all that remains...

Aerosmith's injuries continue - Steven falls off stage in Sturgis

August 6, 2009: Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler was taken to?hospital early Thursday PST after falling from the stage during a concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Tyler fell while?dancing around after the sound system failed during the song "Love in an Elevator". After falling, about midway through the set,?Tyler was eventually taken backstage. He was found to have?sustained?minor head and neck injuries and a shoulder injury.

Eventually Joe Perry came out and told the audience Tyler was being taken to the hospital and that the show would not continue. Let's hope he recovers soon.

Tyler's mishap comes after various other injuries to members of the band, both Brad and Tom have missed shows this tour and Steven and Joe's previous mishaps and injuries have been widly reported. Only Mr Kramer behind the drums appears safe! Take care Joey!?

ZZ TOP rush into the UK with Steel Panther

After just having seen ZZ Top in Dallas and Vegas I can confirm first hand that they are in peak form. I am still having flashbacks to the Key Club and Steel Panther's amazing show.?UK fans are therefore in for a treat (allbeit a brief one) this October when the unlikely package hit the UK.?Tickets go on sale 9.00 am on Friday 7th August.
