The very underrated SKIN are back

SKIN,?one of my favourite melodic rock bands of the early 1990s are back. For those who never got the chance to hear them their self-titled debut is a classic of the genre, and whilst the sound of subsequent releases changed somewhat the songs were always solid. Think Tyketto, Jagged Edge, even Thunder(?). Big choruses that would put Bon jovi to shame and a great live show. Now SKIN are back - after a Download appearence and support slot with Chickenfoot SKIN are set to embark on a December tour of the UK, which a new CD on the way next year...

Whitesnake cancel remainder of US Tour

Whitesnake cut their performance short at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver last night, due to David Coverdale experiencing ?considerable pain? in his vocal chords. Coverdale apologised to fans before cutting the performance short.

After being rushed to a specialist for examination he was instructed to cancel all performances for two weeks and referred to undergo a further examination. Dave is suffering from severe vocal fold edema and a left vocal fold vascular lesion. He was fortunate that it was caught before permanent damage had been caused. As a result Whitesnake cancelled all future US dates.??

I spoke to some fans a few days ago who were upset when the concert in Phoenix was cancelled. We had caught the Whitesnake/Priest tour earlier in Cincinnati where Dave had been pretty much on song.?Let?s hope he makes a full and swift recovery.
