HYRO DA HERO TRIUMPHANTLY RETURNS FROM EUROPEAN TOUR; PLOTS SUMMER TOUR WITH HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD AND ALL THAT REMAINS

KERRANG NOMINATION FOR "BEST INTERNATIONAL NEWCOMER;" FIRST RAPPER TO PLAY DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL

LOS ANGELES, June 22 -- Hyro Da Hero, the Los Angeles-by-way-of-Houston hip hop wunderkind, recently returned from a string of European dates that earned him legions of new fans, an unbelievable reception from the UK press and a #2 single on the UK rock chart (The Blackout's "Higher and Higher" which Hyro co-wrote).  Now he sets his sights straight on the US.

Hyro's debut album, Birth, School, Work, Death, produced by legendary producer Ross Robinson (At the Drive-in, Korn) has earned a 4/5 from Revolver with Editor-in-Chief Brandon Geist saying of Hyro, “... one of the few to break the norm and make rap rock from a genuine rap perspective.  Sonically, he comes across sometimes like Eminem on Slim Shady's heaviest songs; at other times, like Rage Against the Machine at their spazziest, or those Deftones in their most hip-hop-inflected moments.”  Alternative Press also awarded Hyro a 4/5 commenting, “...music has evolved several lifetimes beyond the '90s/'00s renaissance of hard-rocking hip-hop, and there's no better example of this new sophistication than Hyro Da Hero.”  Kerrang, who recently nominated Hyro for Best International Newcomer, described him as “...an undoubted star in waiting” and gave his recent Slam Dunk set a KKKKK (their highest award).
