Beaverfest 2012 Rocks with Three Days Grace, The Cult, Puddle of Mudd and More

Canadian Music Festival Celebrates 2nd year at Windsor Riverfront Amphitheatre
June 1-3

Beaverfest returns for a 2nd year of blazing live rock and country music at Windsor’s Riverfront Amphitheatre on June 1, 2 and 3, 2012.  This year’s festival features an expanded roster of top-notch international rock and country acts including The Cult, Three Days Grace, The Trews, Puddle of Mudd, Doc Walker and more.  All ages are welcome to attend this outdoor festival on the Canadian side of the Detroit River. Doors are at 5 pm daily, and the shows run until Midnight.

Discounted early bird tickets are available now through May 31, 2012.  Ticket prices range from $40 for a general admission 1-day pass to $75 for a VIP 1-day pass. VIP passes include seating in the first 10 rows, private bars and bathrooms, plus gourmet food vendors.  Weekend VIP and general admission passes are also available.  After May 31, all ticket prices will increase by $20.   Tickets are for sale online at beaverfest.ca and ticketscene.ca., or at Windsor retail outlets Dr. Disc, Jam Space and The Dominion House.

“Bigger, better, and louder” is this year’s Beaverfest motto with festival organizers thrilled with a stellar 2012 line up:
Friday June 1:  Canadian rockers Three Days Grace and The Trews
Saturday June 2: Rock radio favorites The Cult, Puddle of Mudd and Honeymoon Suite
Sunday June 3:  Country Day featuring Doc Walker, Emerson Drive and Chad Brownlee.

“We’re stepping it up a notch in terms of the level of talent being brought to this city,’ explains Beaverfest co-organizer David Hunter.

U.S. music fans should be especially excited to see Saturday’s headliners - British rockers The Cult – who will be touring in support of their ninth studio album “Choice of Weapon” (release date May 22), and won’t be performing in Detroit anytime soon.
