As Rammstein celebrates the release of their first retrospective album, Made in Germany 1995 - 2011 (the 16-track, re-mastered collection is available tomorrow, Dec. 13, via Universal Germany through a distribution deal with Vagrant Records), guitarist Paul Landers hints at what fans can expect from the stage savvy band's forthcoming North American tour.

"It's always a major challenge for us to build a new show," explains Landers.  "It starts with a tiny crew and ends up with 23 trucks.  We do try to keep it minimal, but it always becomes more rather than less.  It's not our fault, we're natural show-offs."  Rammstein has become known the world over for their incendiary and decadent live performances.  Fans by the tens of thousands regularly fill arenas and stadiums to take part in what is a wholly unique experience that blends the band's bombastic music with a pyrotechnic-laden, rock music wonderland.  The Los Angeles Times smartly described a Rammstein show as "... epic stagecraft on a Wagnerian scale, several notches up from most arena rock."

With Made in Germany 1995 - 2011's track list (available below) opening up a number of live possibilities, Landers was coy about what songs would be included: "If I tell you, there won't be any surprises... all I can say is, we tried to incorporate a good mix of all of our work.  The band is really enjoying what we are doing and it's kind of scary how well everything is going.  We are looking forward to the American audience because..."  Tour dates are listed below with all shows on-sale now.

Made in Germany 1995 - 2011 is available in three different editions:
* Standard Edition: CD Digipak - Best of Album

* Special Edition: 2-CD Digipak - Best of Album and Best of Remixes

* Super Deluxe Edition: 2-CD (Best of Album and Best of Remixes) as well as 3 DVDs (including the full Rammstein video catalog, all previously available "Making of" and 8 unreleased "Making of" videos) packaged in a steel box complete with a 240-page booklet.  Limited to 1200 copies in the US.

Made in Germany 1995-2011  also includes the new single "Mein Land."  A video for the song was released mid-November and finds Rammstein embracing and then modernizing the beach party film genre.
