So hard to narrow it down - state of mind and
body warp any clear recollection of reality but here's
a few ... fellow member Shane can verify some of these
maybe :

- Slayer at Robinson Pavillion a few years back ..Mastodon support.
The atmosphere was pervaded with herbage and Slayer killed it
and half the crowd were infected by the nastiest throat bug makes swine
flu look like a head cold ..fkd me good for weeks and I made a rocking chair out of phlegm bewwdiful !

- Gigantour ... Megadeth at Metro City 2007 .. supports Devildriver, Lacuna Coil, Static X ... Dave shredded and I was smashed wot a great
combo ... great sound, Dave rules and I bowed down in awe and even
said he had outdone Metallica ... ok at the time fricken Britney woulda
kicked em so it was a bit lame ... I was inebriated somewhat.

- Iron Maiden Challenge Stadium 2008 Somewhere Back in Time AWWWEESOME 2nd row got absolutely hammered by the crowd surge but it was worth it ... Janick Gers pick lands on my shoulder magic ..

Stay tuned more dodgy memories to come ..

Megadeth at Metros was a great show, but I preferred them in the UK in 1990. Nightwish in Fremantle were cool in 2008. Trivium/Black Tide in Australia this year or Armored Saint at Rocklahoma 2008 perhaps the best shows recently.

My personal favourite though must have been Donington 1997 - Dio, Metallica, Anthrax and WASP making up the metal quota that day.

Sepultura at Fremantle Passenger Terminal 1993...best gig Ive ever attended by a country mile!! Never been to a gig that crazy where the entire crowd from back to front went nuts.

Fear Factory on their Demanufacture tour at Metro Freo was great as well.. they were a new band and the place was about a 1/3 full but the band really went for it and put on a great show.

Best metal show would be Anthrax at ROK. Of course coming from Alaska I've been kinda sheltered so my concert lists isn't that big.

I;m gonna try and go to Mayhem Fest in OKC with Slayer and Marilyn Mason tho

NICE ONE!!! I really enjoyed Anthrax at Rocklahoma this year - and we can say we saw a little slice of history since Dan Nelson is now officially OUT of the band

Word on the streets is John Bush has stepped in to play shows for now - and cancelled Armored Saint shows to make it happen. Maybe he's back with them for real...?
Tune in, turn up, rock out!

For me,........it was the whole experience at Rocklahoma 07. From first hearing about it from Dee on "House of Hair" that day in june 07 just after my initial Poets and Pornstars show a month before here in Phoenix. I had seen them (met them) at the Dodge Theatre as they opened for Tesla. That show along with meeting the band "Run Devil Run" they were Poets at the time still, along with that first Rocklahoma set this old hippie off on an awesome road of Hollywood rock and roll adventures that I wouldn't trade the world for today! I have gone to Hollywood, met and made friends with 3 awesome upcomeing Hollywood bands, "Run Devil Run", "Warner Drive", and an awesome band out of Riverside Cali. called "The Generation" I have made friends with poeple who I met at the Roxy and now stay with them outside of LA when we road trip over from Phx. now. Not to mention all the fun I've had at the past three Rocklahomas now, and all the groovy poeple I've met and even become good friends with. Soooo fu-k yeah, for me, definatly Rocklahoma 07. In my opinion, the best line up of bands so far.........

So yeah, for me, definatly Rock 07!!! ppm - mike...
I tell the truth, I ain't no star. I only shout and leave the rest to my guitar! - Alvin Lee

For very sentimental reasons, Mayhem in 2002 when they played at the Raffles Hotel. The pure awesome display of hatred that they brought to the stage was incredible. I was in awe.

I thoroughly enjoyed Motley Crue in 2005 at the Claremont showgrounds. Being nearly 30, I am probably one of the younger guys here, so I have missed out on a lot. The Universe owes me.

I know this information is as obvious as Cerberus gnawing on your leg as you attempt to escape Hades, but this section will soon be updated with people listing Labyrinth - 6th March 2010 at the Castle as their most favourite metal gig ever. For those who disagree, there will be plenty of posing room... in the ladies' toilet.

I would agree with Bill x on the Slayer and Maiden fronts, 2 of the best gigs i've ever experienced.

Add to my top 3 the Everytime i die show from last week; hands down the most intense live show and crowd atmosphere i've been a part of. I arrived at amps with little anticipation of what would happen onstage, and high expectations of the general level of douchebaggery that is often present at "scene" type gigs, and left revelling in the commanding stage presence and flawless performances displayed by every member of the band.

Props to vocalist Keith for promoting stage diving from start to finish and participating, when lets face it, there are a lot of idiots creaming their dacks for an opportunity to get on stage with a band and try to steal the crowds attention away with any number of stupid stunts - the guy who pushed Jordan's amp stack over wont soon be forgetting his 5 seconds of fame after copping a hiding from the brothers Buckley.

Apart from said idiot, the crowd was amazing and i felt just as much unity in the pit that one gets at a traditional metal show. Only there were very few beards and a gazillion giant stretch plugs in everyones ear lobes.
