Digg: I love Tesla but how many Live albums can a band do? What's next 'Live on the moon' maybe? 'Live underwater'? Anyhow it would be wrong of me to comment for two reasons:
(a) I haven't heard it and (b) I know I'll love it anyway... so what did Steve think?
Coming nine years after the Replugged Live set, Alive In Europe is a single disc
set recorded in Barcelona AND Hamburg in July 2009. Despite only releasing six
studio albums (plus four live a double covers CD & three best of albums), Tesla can boast a live set list most bands would kill for.
They were one of the best bands to emerge from the rock scene in the 80`s.
Alive In Europe has a more raw and live feeling sound than Unplugged Live as is all the better for it. The playing is amazing, as you would expect
from Tesla and Jeff Keith sounds better than in years.
All the best stuff is here; Modern Day Cowboy, Heaven`s Trail, Love Song, Signs and Lil Suzie are all among the list. This is aimed at the European market, there are rumours of a live album especially for the USA.
