‘Ride The Venom’ and lead single ‘Christine’ especially sound like a turbocharged and punky Nashville Pussy on a “Deliverance” style midnight canoe trip – all redneck, tobacco chewing, greasy overalls and irresistible attitude.
‘Black Christmas’ is another winner, and is sure to provide a healthily mood-adjuster when the madness of the Santa season hits us all too soon.
It’s a gloriously surly racket full of shredding guitars, instruments getting the shit kicked out of them and melodies that pace in their cage until someone lets the gate open and they pounce right out atcha.
That’s enough blood curdlingly crazed metaphors for one review – but it’s not enough Chainsaw Hookers… I want more!
