Born in 2003 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and melding influences of ska, punk, reggae, electronic, hip-hop with traditional Balkan flavours, and presenting traditionally no-go topics in politically incorrect fashion, Dubioza Kolektiv (Doobie-Oza Collective) are a band quite like no other. LOGAN MADER - ONCE HUMAN
Logan Mader is a name who will be familiar to metalheads not only for his production and mixing work on records from the likes of Gojira, Fear Factory and Devildriver, but also as the original guitarist in Machine Head and his late 90s stint in Soulfly. His current band Once Human is about to release their second album titled 'Evolution' so we catch up with Logan during his recent visit to Australia to discuss the album, how the band started and his experiences in Australia - December 2016

The Jensens recently announced a brand new single (not to be confused with their previous EP) 'Everybody Talks' and two shows in Sydney and Melbourne. BRETT BAMBERGER - REVOCATION
US metal warriors Revocation return to Australia in 2017, this time supporting Aussie legends King Parrot and Psycroptic on the Thrash, Blast And Grind Festival tour. Steve spoke to bass player Brett Bamberger about the upcoming tour, the new album and the evolution of Revocation - December 2016


WEDNESDAY 13
Horror punk/rock act Wednesday 13 returns to Australia again in March 2017, this time however we see him in a more intimate setting with a special unplugged acoustic show that will showcase an entire discography from all the bands he has taken part of including the legendary Murderdolls and his latest work in Bourbon Crow. We catch up with Wednesday 13 to discuss the upcoming shows as well as work on the next full length album - November 2016


DANNY LILKER - NUCLEAR ASSAULT
One of the most iconic bands of the US Thrash Metal movement, Nuclear Assault, will be coming to Australia for their first and last time in February 2017. We caught up with founding member and bassist Dan Lilker to discuss the tour and the final run for Nuclear Assault. - November 2016


JUSTIN FOLEY - KILLSWITCH ENGAGE
Iconic metal giants, Killswitch Engage, will be returning to Australia in March 2017, in support of their seventh album Incarnate. The Massachusetts powerhouse will be bringing along the atmospheric, boundary-pushing metallers Fallujah for their first ever Australian tour. KEN HAMMER - PRETTY MAIDS
'Kingmaker' is Pretty Maids' highly anticipated follow up to 2013's critically and commercially successful release 'Motherland', a record that continued the "revitalized" path that the band set out upon with the now classic album "Pandemonium". We talk to Swedish progressive metal band Katatonia who are returning to Australia for their first ever headlining tour of the country in December. JIMMY KYLE - CHASING GHOSTS (audio)
Five years is a long time between drinks and few know it better than Melbourne punk troubadour Chasing Ghosts. 2011 saw the release of Confessions From A Phone Booth, an unexpectedly intimate record from the hardcore music scene's stalwart Jimmy Kyle and to follow it up in 2016 a new aggrandized Chasing Ghosts presents the long awaited sophomore I Am Jimmy Kyle. We spoke to Jimmy about the new songs, the long wait between albums, touring and tattoos - November 2016

Beth Hart has probably just released the album of her career to date. 'Fire on the Floor' should be the album that makes everyone, who isn't already, sit up and listen. We caught up with Beth in L.A. to dig a little deeper - November 2016

This year The Troggs are 'down under' for the first time without Reg Presley who sadly passed away in 2013 to celebrate the 50 years of 'Wild Thing'. Acclaimed Irish rockers the Answer released their latest album "SOLAS" on October 28 via Napalm Records. As the press release says: "While some may see this as a departure for the band, this album continues their amazing career and further expands upon the amazing musicianship of the band." MIKE MUIR - SUICIDAL TENDENCIES
Speaking to Mike Muir was a dream come true much in the same way that having drumming legend Dave Lombardo in the band has been for Mike. During our conversation I found that we had much in common as far as politics were concerned which can be a very touchy subject for some people and their latest album "World Gone Mad" touches on the craziness of the world as we know it right now. Filled with hate, made of terror; Death In Bloom are a quintet risen from the ashes of Melbourne's metal core heavyweights past with their debut album 'A Means To Disappear' which was released independently on Friday 14th October via MGM. MICK MICHAELS - CORNERS OF SANCTUARY
Hailing from the city of Philadelphia, New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal band Corners Of Sanctuary have wasted no time since their inception 5 years ago with several releases including their latest album "Declaration Of Metal", a compilation best of set. After five years of relentless touring that included playing on some of the most prestigious stages on the planet, Tyketto took their revitalized energy in to the studio in the spring of 2016. The sessions took place at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales (Queen, Rush, Oasis). The band recently returned from a second European tour which saw the band gain momentum with a solid following after their first run and are now set to do a short run of shows in Australia with one show already sold out and the others closing in! We talk to vocalist Stevie Williams about the bands recent touring as well as what lies ahead in the near future - October 2016


CHRIS WHITE - THE DIRE STRAITS EXPERIENCE (audio)
Due to popular demand from Australian fans and following a hugely successful concert tour of UK & Europe the world's greatest Dire Straits show returns to Australia in October 2016 to perform the incredible catalogue of hit songs. Saxophone player and original member from 1985 to 1995 Chris White talks to us about the legacy of Dire Straits, working with the legendary Mark Knopfler and what fans can expect on the Australian tour - September 2016


BRENTON PAGE - OSAKA PUNCH
After returning from a 2 year stint in the UK, Brisbane based multi-progressive rockers Osaka Punch have come out with a new EP titled "Death Monster Super Squad" which quickly follows the full length "Voodoo Love Machine" album. The band recently toured W.A. and are now embarking on an East coast run of Australia, we spoke to bass player Brenton about the band, the new EP and touring - September 2016


TODD LA TORRE - QUEENSRYCHE
We caught up with Michael Wilton earlier in the year when the tour was announced and now we get the chance to talk to 'new' lead singer Todd La Torre via Skype. It looks a nice day out there as we catch him on the porch. His smile and easy going nature I soon find out are infectious - September 2016


JOEL O'KEEFFE - AIRBOURNE
Aussie hard rockers Airbourne release their fourth album "Breakin' Outta Hell" on September 23rd, the first full length to actually be recorded in Australia with the help of Bob Marlette and Mike Fraser on production and engineering. We get the lowdown from frontman Joel on how the album came together as well as a few laughs on how the digital age has played a part in the lead up to the world tour - September 2016


ROSS DOLAN - IMMOLATION
Immolation have been delivering some of the most unique, and creatively dark, death metal the underground has witnessed for over 25 years. For the first time ever in their career, Immolation are set to tour Australia so we had a chat with bassist/vocalist Ross Dolan to find out what the band will be bringing to the shows - September 2016


JUAN BRUJO - BRUJERIA
'Pocho Aztlan' is Brujeria's first new album in 16 years. The title translates to 'Wasted Promised Land,' a combination of Aztlan, the fabled ancestral home of the Aztecs, and the term 'pocho', which native Mexicans use to refer - not always kindly - to their counterparts born in the States. We caught up with vocalist Juan Brujo to discuss the new album and the difficulties of keeping the band active - September 2016

REUBEN STONE - STORMTIDE
Melbourne symphonic/folk/death metal band, Stormtide will release their debut album, Wrath Of An Empire on August 1st, an intricately woven, nine part epic tale of ruin, heroism and dark deeds centred around the adventures of the Warrior, the Prince and the Magician. Perth's cerebral metallers Nucleust will release their new EP "Resistivity" on August 26th and embark on their first interstate tour in support of it with shows in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney this September. Even though visionary Swedish metallers Soilwork are still heavily supporting their most recent masterpiece, "The Ride Majestic", the sextet compiled a must have for every fan out there. Still touring in support of their latest album "Shadowmaker", the band are due to return to Australia in September so we caught up with Eicca again following our previous chat in 2014 to talk about the tour, the 20 year anniversary of their Metallica album and what the future holds for Apocalyptica - August 2016


DONITA SPARKS - L7
Icon queens of grunge and punk rock L7 had a string of hits in the 1990's but by 2001 the band were on an indefinite hiatus and despite no word on whether they would return, the fans always hoped they would. They finally reunited in 2014 and in October 2016, the band are set to tour Australia for the first time since the reunion. We talk to Donita Sparks about the reunion and what Aussie fans can expect on the tour - August 2016


ALEXANDER "ALLIE" HAGMAN - RAISED FIST
Blunt, brutal and relentless - the only way to describe Sweden's hardcore powerhouse Raised Fist whom are heading back down under this December for their first tour in over four years to support their sixth studio album, "From The North". Andrew spoke to frontman Alexander "Alle" Hagman about the tour and shares a story about a hilarious incident that happened to the band at one of their live shows - July 2016

It's been 7 years since Canadian deathcore band Despised Icon last released an album, "Day Of Mourning". The band called it quits after a number of years touring and recording in 2010 but despite saying they were done with it, 2014 saw them return for a couple of reunion shows which then eventually led to the band's latest album "Beast". We spoke to singer Alex Erian to give us some insight into the new album and much more - July 2016


STU MARSHALL - BLASTED TO STATIC
Featuring legendary vocalist Jeff Martin, Aussie guitarist Stu "The Hammer" Marshall, bassist Rev Jones and drummer Clay T, this stellar lineup came together to come up with their self titled debut album released in May. We last saw Canadian rockers Billy Talent at Soundwave Festival in 2013 and now 3 years later, they return for a headlining tour in support of their new album "Afraid Of Heights". EDDIE HERMIDA - SUICIDE SLENCE
Suicide Silence return to Australian shores this September for a headline run around the country, 2 years after their last tour for Soundwave. Frontman Eddie Hermida talks to Steve ahead of the tour to discuss the shows, working on the follow up album to their 2014 effort "You Can't Stop Me" and how he has managed to handle being in the band since the death of Mitch Lucker - July 2016


DAN GARGIULO - REVOCATION
Boston technical metal masters Revocation have another album to be released called "Great Is Our Sin" which takes us back to some of their earlier work in some ways. We find out from guitarist Dan Gargiulo about how the new songs came together and whether the band will come back to Australia in the future - July 2016


ADAM MURRAY - SYDONIA
Hailing from Melbourne which seems like the metal capital of Australia right now, Sydonia are enjoying a lot of success with their explosive shows that have even caught the attention of some bands like Lamb Of God. Currently they have just released a new video for "Eyes Of Sand" and are heading on tour for an East Coast run, we had bass player Adam Murray answer a few questions for us before the tour which kicks off at the end of the month - July 2016


JOHN CORABI - THE DEAD DAISIES
With a new, and we reckon their best album so far 'Make Some Noise' about to drop on August 5th The Dead Daisies are set to embark on a three month European and US Tour, taking in some of the biggest European Festivals and even slipping South for their first trip to the Loud Park Festival in Japan. We caught up with John Corabi to get up to speed on band developments - the loss of Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus to Guns 'N' Roses and the new gunslinger onboard - Doug Aldrich.
