If you like dirty frenetic rock and roll that has a beautifully unhinged quality at times then Bullet Train Blast should be a band to add to your listening list. From the shaking rock and counterpoint melodies of the title track this is an album you can’t ignore.

Part pub rock, part Southern swagger, part melody and part sheer attitude, at times you glimpse the sheer riffing force of newcomers like Black Stone Cherry, at others it’s the vibe of classic eighties bands but BTB are very much their own beast, guided along by great guitar and dirty powerful vocals.

Tracks like ‘Game Over’ just glow with a fiery attitude and cement what previous album ‘Nothing Remains’ laid out. And when they take it down like on ‘Right Reasons’ there’s a real simmering sense of subdued aggression.

Sometimes it’s irresistible like the screaming, chugging rocker ‘Broken’ or the even more aggressive closer ‘The Fighter’ or our favorite the driving ‘Oh Desire’. Is it as good as ‘Nothing Remains’, well not quite but it’s certainly its equal at times.
BTB is definitely a band you’d want to catch.
