As the outlandish frontman of unique Aussie rockers Gay Paris, Luke has carved himself as a singer that simply puts it out there and whatever happens is up to the fans to decide. That mentality goes across with the band as well and their latest album "Ladies and Gentlemen: May We Present To You The Dark Arts" is a testament to what the band do best, and that is rock. We caught up with the frontman ahead of an upcoming national tour across Australia to speak about the new songs and what the tour may hold for the fans.

Luke: I think what we got out of it was we stopped being ashamed of our metal and heavier background. With the
first few records, we were dealing with the idea that the blues was cool and maybe over forcing all that
down bayou and maybe even hillbilly elements. And this time maybe we've got more intuitive song structures
but we've definitely made our peace and allowed ourselves to be a heavy band again. Whether or not people
will accept that as metal, that's up to the people who can headbang the best to decide.
