HARMONY THEATRE OF REDEMPTION REVIEW 2014

HARMONY - THEATRE OF REDEMPTION

ULTERIUM RECORDS

NOVEMBER 28 2014

There are elements of so many great bands in Harmony’s sound but to us one of the names that springs first to mind as ‘The Window of my Soul’ bursts forth is Empire-era Queensryche. There’s just that great balance of harmony and thrust to that opening song that you feel this album could be anything. As the album opens out though you find that there is more in common with Power Metal than Progressive and tracks like ‘Crown Me King’ shout that in spades.

The great strength of the album though is really the quality which never lets up whether it’s the Melodic Rock of ‘Inhale’ (which almost makes you think of bands like The Poodles!); or the wonderful guitar of the more Progressive ‘Son of the Morning’. Three albums in Harmony seem to have hit the nail on the head and produced their best work so far.

Check out the wonderful ‘Hands of Time’ and ‘Inhale’ if you want to hear some great Melodic Rock; and ‘Theatre of Redemption’ the title track if you want Harmony at their most grand and memorable.   You will love this.
