FAIR WARNING - THE BOX (5 CD)

STEAMHAMMER / SPV

AUGUST 19 2014

Founded out of the ashes of German Hard Rockers Zeno and V2, Fair Warning debuted with a self-titled album in 1991 before a four-year gap to album two: ‘Rainmaker’ in 1995. After that Fair Warning released two more studio albums: ‘Go’ and ‘Four’ before disbanding in the year 2000.

More than five years after that last release Fair Warning were back with fifth outing ‘Brother's Keeper’ and follow-up ‘Aura’, while just last year the band put out the rather excellent ‘Sundancer'.

This 5 CD set arguably collects together arguably Fair Warning’s five best releases – starting with ‘Go’ and adding ‘Four’; ‘Brother’s Keeper’ and ‘Aura’ along with the live album ‘Live and More’.

If you love your European Hard Rock then listen to tracks like ‘Save Me’ (probably one of my favourite Fair Warning tracks ever); ‘Follow My Heart’ and ‘Angels of Heaven’ from ‘Go’. Then move on to the ‘Four’ disc and play ‘Heart on the Run’ and tell me that these guys aren’t Melodic Rock Masters.

Essential if you don’t have the originals!
