Any ASIA release will of course be essential for fans of the band, and here to actually get a live set by the original band line-up is something of interest to even casual fans (if indeed such people exist), or the curious.

In truth this isn’t the best sound recording of a live concert you will ever hear, but musically the band is faithful to the songs and John Wetton vocally is in form. If you are a fan of the band to think that this is also the only official video release of the 2010 reformation where the band played a set of songs from the first two classic albums plus songs from the first two albums of its reunion, ‘Phoenix’ and ‘Omega’.

Recorded at the inaugural High Voltage Festival in Victoria Park, London, on 24th July 2010 it’s a great, if short set performed in front of an enthusiastic festival crowd who lap up the fact that they are getting that full run through the debut album (the best selling album in the US in 1982!) albeit in a completely different running order and adding versions of ‘I Believe’ (from ‘Omega’) and ‘An Extraordinary Life’ (from ‘Phoenix’).

It’s a great listen if you’re interested in the band and the video of the Fesival is a great momento if you were lucky enough to catch the band on that tour.
