THE 69 EYES

THE BEST OF THE

HELSINKI VAMPIRES

2013

GOTHIC GREATS - 2 CD's from Helsinki's finest Goth Mettalers

If you are looking for a value for money introduction to a band that really stands on its own - then grab a copy of this. Over the years The 69 Eyes has brought us some of the finest sleazy dark Metal you've ever heard - and the best of it is gathered here, including tracks from last year’s tenth LP 'X'.

Fans even get two new songs (shame there couldn't have been more) in the shape of 'Lost Without Love', written by the singer Jyrki69 and dealing with situations he and the band's drummer, Jussi69, have both gone through, and the ballad 'Rosary Blue' featuring Kat Von D. In fairness neither is the peak of the 69 Eyes but are worthy additions.

If you are new to the band - try eternal classics like 'Dead Girls are Easy'; 'Gothic Girl'; 'Never Say Die' or 'Lost Boys'. Don't be fooled in thinking this is all you need though great songs like 'Beneath the Blue' don't even make the cut.
