FILTHY EMPIRE

2013

ALL LIT UP

Heaven’s Basement has a couple of great EPs under their belt and can now add to that a killer album. After treading the stages a few big festivals the band seems to have upped the ante as far as material is concerned, almost like they’ve been driven by the taste of bigger things to come.

If you love you Hard Rock, pumped with youthful enthusiasm but with enough substance to please those who love it more in the classic vein, then UK’s Heaven’s Basement might just be one of those bands that can please both camps.

There’s plenty of power here, plenty of passion and lots of fist-pumping action, but it’s all underscored with a real sense of melody and some wonderfully constructed choruses!

If you want a taste first check out singles ‘Fire, Fire’; ‘Nothing left to Lose’ and ‘I Am Electric’. On second thoughts just hit play and opener ‘Welcome Home’ should do the trick.
You need this album, rock and roll is alive and kicking!
