REMIXING THE ENEMY

When I first heard the first track on this one I thought ‘My God is that really Scooby Doo doing a Death Metal vocal?’ Well I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong but listen to the refrain after reading this and tell me I wasn’t close? All joking aside this is heady stuff and very different taking as it does the band’s previous work and remixing it. If you loved ‘Fallen Empires’ or the EP ‘Wolves of Perigord’ then the addition of electronica might put you off but the results are at best amazing and at worst very interesting indeed.

Our favourites at The Rockpit after blasting this out for the last few days are 'Ants In The Palm' which retains that Metal vibe while probably working best as a remix; ‘Don't Look Now' too is the sort of heavy industrial Goth that you either love of hate (we love) but it’s an undeniable statement of intent.

If you love your Metal, love your Industrial Goth and don’t run a million miles at the mention of ‘Electronica’ this is for you. If you want something different to challenge your traditional Metal tastes then this just might be the album to open your eyes.
