TREMONTI

LIVE AT THE BOTTOM LOUNGE

CHICAGO

23 SEPTEMBER 2012

Mark Tremonti is a man of many hats.  He is the Grammy-award winning guitarist of Creed, guitarist of Alter Bridge, and now you can add front-man of his own band, Tremonti.  Mark recently released his first solo album, ‘All I Was’.

He decided to take the new music on the road as part of the Hard Drive Live tour.  The tour rolled into Flint, Michigan @ The Machine Shop and we were on hand to witness the rock and roll frenzy.

Mark and his band, featuring Submersed guitarist Eric Friedman and drummer Garrett Whitlock, as well as fill-in bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, took the stage and proceeded to own the night.  Mark was fearless as he sang his way through the set list all the while playing his ass off.  You could see it in his face – he came to conquer and bring his new tunes to the crowd.  Eric played flawlessly filling in all the guitar gaps needed to balance the sound and Garrett punished his kit, keeping perfect time for the band.  Wolfgang played strong and well, but kept out of the limelight most of the night, seemingly not wanting to deviate the crowds attention from the bands namesake.

If you get the chance, I strongly recommend checking out this tour when it rolls through your town.  Mark does heavy rock, and he does it well.
