REV THEORY

TAKE 'EM OUT EP

2012

PARTY ROCK 2012

Like a cross between Buckcherry and ‘You Could Be Mine’ Gunners: Rev Theory is one of those modern straight ahead Rock bands that is designed to just deliver a dose of hard rock as quickly as possible straight to the blood stream. If you are looking for meaning and mystery, go look elsewhere.

We of course love Rev Theory.

The “Take ‘Em Out” EP does what you want it to do – “Something New” and “Adrenalize” are great slabs of fast paced hard rock, desinged to ‘let go’ to. “Take ‘Em Out” is more modern party rock in the vein of bands like Hinder but with a harder edge. Maybe a modern day stripper anthem if it weren’t for the stuttering beat? It’s the best and most immediate here, though this is a four track EP that pumps from the off. Final track “Undefeated”, the heaviest track doesn’t let the side down either. Four great songs you should be listening to.
