Red Sea Rising
Eye Of The Storm
By Helen Hosie

From the depths of Southern California hail a band by the name of RED SEA RISING, consisting of Jeffrey Kerr (Jett Ryder) on vocals, David Bea's (drums) Trey Gott (bass) and last but by no means least Ken Pinkstaff (Gunner Slinger) (lead guitar and Lyricist)
I am no stranger to this band, I first heard of them earlier this year and was surprised that I hadn't heard them before. Red Sea Rising certainly know how to hold my attention. Now releasing their new album "Eye of The Storm" via Interscope/ Universal, these guys are here to stay, ‘cos I can’t imagine they would leave quietly.
The first track I recommend you guys and gals listen too is called "Standing In The Rain" - a perfect example of how a ballad should be written. Teamed with the gritty rocking vocals of Jeffrey, musically this track ticked all my boxes. It grips me and in my opinion that's what you want from an album.
My second choice for you my fellow rockers is the track called "Walk Beside Me" - very old school with a modern twist. Rock n' Roll at it's finest.
I firmly recommend you guys have a listen.
