It only seems like the other week when ISSA first hit our ears with the mighty fine debut: 'Signs of Angels'. This second release has a number of contributors to the songwriting who will be familiar names to a lot you out there. And it is another triumph from Frontiers. Here it's 'What Does It Take’, 'Black Clouds' and 'The Storm' along with Issa's beaitiful vocals that make this more than just another fine AOR release...

“Looking For Love” that kicks off this second release from Issa pretty much allays all fears that we might be straying from the successful template that made last year’s debut such a fine embodiment of the genre. The modern crunch of the guitar remains but the overwhelming palette is the sweet melodies and Issa’s wonderful voice.

“Please Hold On” that follows is another strong song that is perfectly executed, it feels like something that Patty Smyth’s Scandal would have done back in the day and “Take as Stand” has a more modern flavour but no matter what the musical backdrop it’s the melodies that are so strong and timeless.

Of the tracks here its a hard task to pick favourites, but the delicate title track 'The Storm' is a real showcase for Issa's vocals. 'Black Clouds' is wonderful too, but after a few listens now the dynamic  ‘What Does It Take’ with its barrage of keys takes the prize, but it's close...

Of its type it’s hard to fault an album like this, great songs accentuated by a truly gifted vocalist. Music that will brighten your day…
