An absolute wet dream for any fan of Germany’s (and the world’s!) undisputed Queen Of Metal, this box set features the full concert from the special Celebration gig to mark Doro’s 25th anniversary in rock, an abundance of extras, an exclusive photo booklet and a CD of highlights of the concert, all lovingly packaged with hard covers and lavish booklets.

The concert itself was held in Dusseldorf in 2008 and is a spectacular affair with guests and props and pyro galore – all of it captured on this DVD set.

The Queen herself is in stunning form – as beautiful as ever, she is visibly moved by the adoration and love being shown her, and she delivers an amazing performance through 20 of her stunning career highlights plus a few covers.

Highlights include a reformation of the 1986 lineup of her first band, Warlock, for several songs, a “Full Metal Female Version” of ‘Celebrate’, featuring Sabina Classen, Floor Jansen, Liv Kristine, Ji-In Cho, Liv Jagrell, Jacki Chambers & Enid Williams; and appearances by Klaus Meine & Rudolf Schenker, Jean Beaviour, Bobby Blitz, Tarja Turanen, Axel Rudi Pell & Chris Bolendahl, Honza K B Janek, and a climax featuring every guest perfoming the classic ‘All We Are’.

Despite all the star turns and guest appearances, this is never anything less than Doro’s show – the Metal Queen is in control from start to finish, and the DVD extras feature a lengthy and illuminating interview with her, alongside plenty more music including tunes from Wacken Open Air 2009, Summer Breeze 2007 and more.

There’s absolutely nothing here not to like – this is as good as it gets for any fan of metal, and doubly so for anyone with even a passing interest in the first lady of metal.
